Federation's Alliance for Jewish Education's FedEd welcomes adults of all ages to experience the joys of learning through an array of classes and programs taught by rabbis and master educators from our community, as well as guest lecturers.

FedEd classes and programs include:

  • A History of Modern Israel: Learn about the history of the founding of the State of Israel, it's experiences and the impact of Israel as a State. You'll learn what it has been, how it has grown, it's successes, failures, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Hebrew Language Classes: from total beginner to advanced language and literature [PDF]

  • Florence Melton Adult Mini-School: Give us two hours a week, we'll give you 5,000 years. In-depth learning in a user-friendly format. Co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Center.
