Established in 1958, Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit is a Solomon Schechter school guided by the principles of Conservative Judaism and committed to fostering love of learning and respect for knowledge. Currently Hillel serves approximately 760 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Academic excellence is the cornerstone of the Hillel program which provides an outstanding and comprehensive General, Hebrew and Judaic education, stressing social action and social responsibility.
